FAQs

How do cooking classes work? What is included?

It’s very easy – you email or call me with your ideas and number of people you would like to host for an in-home cooking lesson. I show up with all needed materials, we use your kitchen space to have a very interactive cooking class that usually lasts about 4 hours total, and we all taste and experience our amazing creations together! All classes always includes a full meal for all participants, usually with yummy leftovers for the host as well!

How do in-home food parties work? What is included?

Whatever the occasion (just a weekend get together with friends, birthdays (all ages!), graduations, small/medium businesses mixers or team activities – I will work with you to create a menu based on authentic regional Italian traditions.

I acquire all needed ingredients. All food will be freshly prepared in your own home, and served either buffet style or sit-down served (as per previously agreed upon preferences), and it included full cleanup.

What's on the menu?

We will talk and discuss menus together. They usually include three courses (an appetizer, entrée, dessert). I will guide you through dishes from the many regional cuisines of Italy starting with your own ideas, and we will create a culinary and cultural experience that is difficult to replicate (unless you are in Italy!) Check out these SAMPLE menus - but they one represent a tiny fraction of possibilities!

Is wine included?

It is BYOB, but I can suggest good wine-pairings!

What are the prices?

As I only source from local and seasonal and very fresh ingredients, pricing varies and depends on many factors (number of guests, menu choice, sit-down served meals vs buffet, etc.) The range is usually between $80 and can go up to $200 per guest depending on the menu, but is typically around the $100 per guest, all inclusive, but not including gratuity.

There will be a small travel add-on fee if the event is in New York City. In all, the math is very favorable when compared to hosting a dinner at a restaurant, with a far more authentic and personalized cultural experience (and “wow” factor!) in your own home.

Can I gift a cooking class or dinner experience?

YES! This makes for an amazing gift to any loved one, as it is unique, and something everyone remembers for a long time after! Contact me and I will provide a gift "certificate" that is valid for 1 year and can be used anytime based on my availability.
